Deep red.

Low-toned nose - peanut sauce/garrigue/raspberry coulis/earth. Iron too, with air.

Brighter in the mouth, with tell-tale grapefruit zest chew/flavor dominating. Undertones of earth, iron and cherry jam.
Hard to beat at the price. Hopefully Gallo will go back to natural cork, or, better, screwcaps. This is a synthetic version. Very oxidative, thus no Vinturi used.
