Moderate intensity nose - tar/asphalt, earth, savory nut, red cherry jam. Refined action.

Suave middle-weight in the mouth. No hard edges, but quite concentrated, with a light grainy feel in the finish. Something about the symmetry here reminds me of Clos des Papes. Pepper and licorice emerging with air.
