Marcassin "Three Sisters" Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 2002

Red, some evolution.

Killer, deep, sumptuous nose - cherry sauce, hazelnut, herbs/underbrush. Shows some VA lift/spice.

Round and sensual, with nose repeated in flavor. It's interesting that a woman made this. And that Burgundy bottles are shaped as they are. Absolutely delicious - something you want to "eat". Not complex in the usual sense of the word, but the textural/flavor synergy here is mind-boggling.
