Turley "Old Vines" Zinfandel 2005

Medium red. Looks like Pinot.

Vibrant, lifted nose shows some American oak spice, earth/grain, cranberry/citrus and pepper notes.

Round, sweet entry framed by mouth-watering acidity and light tannin. Walks lightly, but carries intense citrus character front to back. Again, this has the refinement of a very nice Pinot, nothing overdone. Long, subtle finish.

Not incredible, just very, very satisfying wine. I buy this whenever I can.
