Marcassin, Marcassin Vyd, Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 2000

Dull red.

Great integrated nose - spicy red cherry, mint, charred meat, hazelnut/earth/cinnamon and even a hint of the sea.

Round, plush and vibrant. Still quite structured with an edge of acidity (VA enhanced) and cinnamon tannin. No problem sitting on this for several years. Not giving it up just yet/playing hard to get.
