Zind Humbrecht "Hengst" Gewurztraminer 2003

Yellow/light gold.

Deep, "thick" aromas of orange/grapefruit marmalade, lychee candy and a floral nuance. Killer.

Deep, quite sweet, and yet is not heavy at all. Picks up a bright orange zest character in the mid-palate which keeps kicking through the extremely long finish. Even a light iodine note very late. This rocks and is way too easy to drink.

$70. 14.5% alcohol, indice 4 (just shy of dessert wine).
