Brusset, "Hauts de Montmirail", Gigondas 2000

Dull, deep red.

Vinturi - smoke, embers/charred meat/grilled herbs, some Brett/earth, toasted nut and a vague cherry jam quality on the nose.

Broad and mouth-filling, with an edge of acidity that keeps it tight. Some herb and iron notes in the mid-palate and finish. Not shaking the fun stuff. Deep, but has no fruit core.
