Vinturi - smoke/ash, blackest of black fruit, play-doh, suave oak spice, Sambuca nose.

Very intense, bracing entry - black fruit, licorice, celery, sawn redwood - on a wave of huge acid/tannin synergy. Somehow flavors continue to flow, despite an almost complete mouth shutdown. Really interesting action and nowhere near maturity. Redwood character has serious hang-time. Another wine that needs a cup of hot lamb fat.
