Joguet "Les Petites Roches" Chinon 2006

Deep red.

Vinturi - deep black fruit, licorice, earth/spice on the nose. No obvious oak.

Round and surprisingly fleshy after the nose. Quite spicy, with intense black fruit flavors and a thread of "green-ness" that is not off-putting. Definitely a middle-weight, with significant acid/tannin synergy in the finish. This will benefit from several more years of cellaring.
