Vinturi - deep black cherry/hazelnut liqueur, earth and other stuff I can't articulate. Smells sumptuous.
Deep, plush in the mouth, with great textural sweetness immediately rectified by strong, fine, acidity. This is totally cool action. Much riper in texture and flavor than any Passopisciaro I've had, but not as finely etched.
Day 4 - Much firmer now, no textural sweetness. Shows a smoke/ash/leather character that reminds me of Aglianico.
