Deep purple/red.

Vinturi - macaroon, blackberry, black raspberry, toasted oak, spice - can't articulate everything. Sumptuous, like a baked confection.

Deep and broad in the mouth, with a grainy/saline edge. Intense, focused. This is killer. Huge oak influence, but great raw materials and winemaker (Mariano Garcia). And decent bottle age. This will drink well for years to come.
