Colosi, Nero d'Avola, Sicily 2007

Purple.

Vinturi - great "modern" nose - deep black fruit, clay/earth and spice. Shows nice small barrel elevage (?).

Round, deep and plush in the mouth. Black fruit/earth flavors remind me again (nose does too) of Spanish Monastrell (Juan Gil). Acid drives moderate tannin, but nothing abrasive about this. There's a licorice nuance also. Very good depth and concentration.
