Deep red.

Vinturi - low-toned, fairly deep nose - clay/earth, black raspberry, mint.

Round initial impression immediately tempered by strong acidity and modest concentration. Reasonably intense flavors, but definitely much leaner than the nose suggests. But at this price, still a great house wine. I had it with grilled chicken. Great match.
