Pertimali (Sassetti), Brunello di Montalcino 1997

Deep red.

Vinturi - earth/bricks/shoe polish/black cherry jam/toasted nut nose.

Round and deep, but a bit facile, particularly following the Lagrange. Iron and cherry flavors with fairly strong acidity clamping on the finish. This needs more time.
