Deep red.

Vinturi - this is more like it - understated, sexy nose - hazelnut, red cherry coulis, earth, spice, savory meat.

Intense in the mouth, with strong acidity honing flavors. There's a bit of celery character here that also showed in the Calvario. Very tightly knit throughout, like the Calvario. Shows very little, shut down completely in the finish. Fresh sage very late. This could use another 6-8 years or more.
