Mas Foulaquier "L'Orphee" Pic Saint-Loup 2007

Red/purple.

Vinturi - licorice, shoe polish, earth, black raspberry on the nose. Deep, interesting.

Round and sweet texturally in a Grenache sort of way (don't know what the blend is here). Spicy red and black fruit throughout, with fairly strong framing acidity. Tightly wound, but definitely gives up some of the goods now. Better in a few years. There are stem tannins here - coating the side teeth in "chew". PFG.
