Januik, Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley 2006

Deep red.

Vinturi - herbs, cinnamon, red and black cherry coulis, ash, earth nose. Expressive and extremely attractive.

Round and plush, with an edge of acidity moving in from the sides of the mouth. Cherry and cinnamon flavors throughout. Tannin really isn't much of an issue. I'd guess this will become considerably more complex with a few more years of cellaring. RGS. Pure.

$42. Januik was the longtime winemaker at Chateau Ste. Michelle. He also makes Petit Verdot, something I need to snag some bottles of.
