Light red.
Oak ether, coconut nose. Hints of cranberry/orange.
Hugely mouthcoating and creamy, but a high-toned character (from alcohol, I think, 16%) really kills any mid-palate flavor. Very fine, but ultimately significant structure (acid dominated) clamps down from another angle.
I really don't understand how this is a step up in quality from Tres Picos, which must be made at the same winery.
