Zenato Amarone 1998

Deep red.

Smoke/truffle, cherry jam, oak(?) spice nose. Great, dense nose - smells packed.

It is. Very full in the mouth - real textural density (some RS?). Abundant, acid re-inforced tannin kicks in to the front of the mouth.
Cherry/cranberry/strawberry jam and spice flavors ride through it all. Moderate length.

This would benefit from a few more years in the bottle.
